Hans looking particularly happy after emerging from customs at Melbourne...was it the joy that his 24hr journey was finally over or maybe it was his new friend that he found, just behind him?
When offered the choice of going straight home for a shower or first a coffee at our local cafe this was the result...hard to resist a Dench coffee! I thin kHans will be a local fixture here before he leaves :-)
Gabby and I advised Hans he should protect his cranium front he harsh Aussie sun with a suitable hat...we went down to the nearby factory outlet fashion shops to check out the wares...this was one of the rejects...
...Gabby thought Hans looked particularly handsome in this one when we realised it was a girl's hat! The final selection will be revealed in later days...
First night, warm weather, so we decided on an Aussie BBQ on our roof top patio...here Hans contemplates the organic lamb sausages...
...with tomato relish on damper..yum!
...and a home made strawberry, kiwi fruit and passion fruit pavlova for dessert...oh yes!!
After sunset, the lights took over on the deck and in the CBD in the distance...
But finally it was time for our happy wanderer to go nighty night...he's going to kill me in the morning but wasn't it worth taking this pic? Good night sweet prince..your adventure continues tomorrow... :-)
Well, I made my threats in the older blog, e being an absolute noob in blog land. See the comments in the first blog.
ReplyDeleteBut on a positive note: he did photoshop out the teddybear ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou had better watchout Mal, hans has a way of getting back, and I think the law of cool is on his side. Also remember the full nudity, sleeping with door open at Villa Vega? Can you be sure no phots were taken?
